Why would bonsai lovers love a Bald Cypress?

While it grows slowly, its easy to maintain. Its leaves turn out light and feathery in autumn tones of orange-brown. It can also be cultivated in a wide variety of soils and climates.

How should someone care for a Bald Cypress?

Keep it in wet soil, outside if possible. It thrives best in full sun. In the spring, you’ll want to fertilize weekly with balanced fertilizer (10-10-10), decreasing to every two weeks by late summer through fall. No fertilizer is needed in the winter dormant season.
